Expertly designed into the wild Baja desert with views of the Sea of Cortez from every hole, the Fred Couples Signature golf course at Twin Dolphin Club was made for everyone to enjoy — not just the pros.

Signature Design

This challenging, uphill layout is the number one handicap on the front nine, immediately establishing the course’s playful dialogue with the natural arroyo.

This picturesque Par 4 boasts a wide fairway for a welcoming tee shot. One of the few holes facing the Sea of Cortez to the east, it features the first of our two infinity greens.

An elevated tee box here allows you to take advantage of a leisurely downhill fairway. But Hole 3 is all about precision, with a relatively tight green complex that limits the landing area. (Allegedly this is also Fred’s favorite hole).

Don’t be fooled by the yardage of our shortest Par 3. The hole is capped by a false front and back, so accuracy is essential. Like the Baja desert, it’s simple and beautifully complex all in one.

This Par 4 is a tease with exceptional risk and reward opportunities. Brave hitters face off against a long bunker that splits the fairway. (If you miscalculate, the beloved Red Door 5 amenity station is right off the green to help soothe the pain).

The shortest of the four Par 5s on the course, Hole 6 is framed by a picturesque natural Baja desert backstop. The green accommodates a less delicate shot if you can dodge the two bunkers.

This hole, an oasis in the stark organic landscape, marks the beginning of a tricky three-hole stretch to finish the front nine. Two natural arroyos give way to a generous multi-tiered green.

Walking away with a par is a challenge here as Hole 8 is easily the most difficult par three at Twin Dolphin Club. Grab onto those desert winds and hit the ball high for absolute yardage.

Hole 9 presents one of the most demanding tee shots on the front nine, but beautiful views of the natural arroyo – including a ravine showcasing one of the oldest Cardone cactuses on property – are a lovely sight for focused eyes.

The Sea of Cortez sets a splendid horizon line at the top of the back nine, for a challenging, uphill Par 4 that is split down the fairway by one of the deepest, longest arroyos on property.

Celebrating the natural surroundings, our signature Par 3 features a downhill elevation change of 80 yards. Its iconic arroyo integration and backdrop of the Sea of Cortez makes it one of the most photographed holes at Twin Dolphin Club.

Appearances can be deceiving. This signature hole is in harmony with the landscape, which can also mean treacherous bunkers and a green marked by complex undulations.

The Sierra Laguna Mountains are the gorgeous backdrop to this medium length Par 5 with a blind tee shot. Line up at the impressive Pitaya cactus on the right for your chance at success.

The lengthiest Par 3 on the course, this hole is sloped downhill and can be finessed in a variety of ways. Make friends with the Baja winds to beat the slopes and get that much-coveted Par.

The number one handicap Hole 15 begins a difficult three-hole stretch, with a complex personality that includes a sizable “catcher’s mitt” bunker and our second infinity green.

Fortune favors the bold on this Par 5 with dual fairways. With a natural arroyo situated directly in the middle, a good tee shot forces players to choose between conservation or aggression.

Challenging but beautiful, the longest Par 4 on the course is generous off the tee due to the downhill slope, and a good drive should result in extra distance. Enjoy the final stretch.

Our last hole is a straightforward Par 4 to round out the back nine. Soak in the last of those undulating green hills amid the arroyo, but don’t forget to select your club wisely.
